Ditch the Foundation
When you’re in a major rush, skip the most time-consuming part of a makeup routine – foundation. Opt for something easy, like a tinted moisturizer or BB cream that can be applied and blended with your fingers. Next, cover up any imperfections with a concealer but don’t bother reaching for another brush – use an eye brush like the Eye Shader or Detail to apply and blend. The short, dense bristles are similar to concealer brushes and make these beauties perfect for multitasking!
Make It Matte
Without foundation, oil can easily build up on the skin over the course of a day. Keep things matte and dry with all-over translucent or tinted powder, applied with the Powder or Pointed Powder brushes. By applying a layer of powder over the face, you’ll also set any BB cream and concealer you applied, making sure it will stay all day. Want to make sure you look perfect for a date later? Add a Pop of Color
Even if you’re dead tired, you don’t have to look dead! Apply a sweep of blush along your cheeks with either the Complexion or Blush brushes to really wake up your complexion. Start near the apples of your cheeks and swipe upwards and towards the outer edge of your face to frame your features. This is also a super easy way to coordinate your look – choose a blush color that matches or compliments the outfit you’re wearing.
Shine Bright!
Instantly wake up your eyes with a sweep of shimmery shadow. Using the Angle Blender or the Crease brush, gently sweep a neutral but shimmery eyeshadow across your lid, making sure to blend out any harsh edges into the crease. If you have time, you can wipe the excess shadow off of the brush and go into the crease with a darker matte color to add a little dimension. Top your eyes with mascara and/or liner to finish this sweet and simple eye look.
Finish It Off
Finally, you can polish off this super easy look in a few different ways! Quickly fill in brows with the Line brush or smudge a bit of liner along the lower lash line with the Detail brush (if you used it to apply concealer earlier, just wipe off any excess makeup before smudging). You can even do some subtle contouring with the Blush or Complexion brushes. Before you run out the door, don’t forget to apply a lip product – our favorite for this look is a simple tinted lip balm.
